Webinar Series on Human Rights and A2J for Women in Conflict with the Law

UP IHR co-organizes webinar series on human rights and A2J for women in conflict with the law.

The UP Institute of Human Rights (UP IHR) and the Foundation for Integrative and Development Studies Inc. (FIDS), together with the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN WOMEN), invite interested participants to its webinar series on human rights and access to justice (A2J) issues of women in conflict with the law (WICL).

Prof. Elizabeth Aguiling-Pangalangan, UP IHR Director and FIDS Project Leader, and the other UP IHR lawyers, Atty. Glenda Litong, Atty. Daniel Lising, MD, Atty. Raymond Baguilat and Atty. Michael Tiu, Jr. will be conducting these webinars between February and March 2021. The three webinars will focus on the issues encountered in three phases by WICL: pre-trial, during imprisonment, and post-detention. These events are open to the public, but pre-registration is required.
