PLJ Vol 97 Call for Abstracts: Special Issue Symposium

PHILIPPINE LAW JOURNAL VOLUME 97 CALL FOR ABSTRACTS: SPECIAL ISSUE SYMPOSIUM

The JOURNAL will be co-presenting a Forum on Constitutional Change with the UP Law Center Information and Publications Division and the Institute of Government and Law Reform. As part of the Forum, the JOURNAL is accepting paper abstracts on the topic of “Constitutional Change”, which will also be the theme for Issue 4.
Selected abstracts will be presented by authors during the symposium proper of the Forum. The abstracts will also be considered for Issue 4.
Law practitioners and students are highly encouraged to submit their work. All submissions will undergo blind deliberations.
Topics include, but are not limited to, the following subject matters:
– Judicial Review and Constitutional Change
– Constitutional Reform and Transitional Justice
– Electoral Reform and Constitutional Amendments
– Anti-Corruption Measures and Constitutional Amendments
– Competition Policy in Constitutional Reform
– Constitutional Limitations on Political Dynasties
– Parliamentary and Presidential Systems
– Social Justice and Vulnerable Groups
– Constitutional Change and the People Power
– Martial Law and the Philippine Constitution
The deadline for submission of abstracts is on March 25, 2024.
