Catherine Pedrosa appointed to Legal Education Board as student representative

Catherine P. Pedrosa, an incoming fourth-year UP Law student, was appointed as the Law Student Representative of the Legal Education Board. The appointment from the Office of the President was announced at the Philippine News Agency Website on June 29, 2018.

The Legal Education Board supervises all law schools and continuing legal education providers in the Philippines. In an article for the Manila Bulletin on the activities of the Legal Education Board, retired Justice Art D. Brion expressed that “law students should show an active and continuing concern for the education they receive from their law schools, now numbering about 130 Philippines-wide,” in which Pedrosa’s voice in the Board is of enormous significance.
