Asian Society of Labour Law’s Manila Special Conference Call for Papers

Asian Society of Labour Law Invites Paper Submissions for the 16-17 December 2022 Manila Special Conference; Designates UP Law Prof. Daway As Interim President

Greetings!

The Asian Society of Labour Law (AsianSLL) will hold its 2022 Manila Special Conference on the reset/rescheduled date of 16-17 December 2022, via hybrid (face-to-face and virtual), at the College of Law, University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines. The Conference Theme is “Labour Rights in the New Normal”.

The two-day Conference will have thematic discussions based on these concerns:

  • Workers’ Rights Amidst the New Normal (Pandemic)
  • Gender Equality in Labour Law
  • Other Topics Related to Labour and the New Normal

Each thematic discussion will cover one-half day plenary session with open forum.

In this connection, we are calling on labour law professors, practitioners, scholars, and students to submit on any or all areas of concern:
(a) abstracts (500 words) with outline (on one-page A4) or
(b) papers (5,000 words)

The deadline for submission is on 31 October 2022 (Monday). The Screening Committee will screen the papers online. Selected paper presenters will be notified as soon as possible.
