The UP Law Stetson Team finished as finalists at the Southeast Asian Regional Rounds (SEARR) of the 24th Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition. This is the 8th consecutive year that UP Law has reached the championship rounds in Stetson SEARR. The contingent argued as respondent in the finals against the National University of Singapore. The team will be one of Southeast Asia’s representatives in the International Rounds in Florida, USA.

Urania Lindo was awarded Best Overall Oralist of the competition, while Beatriz Anna Balbacal was recognized as the 3rd Best Overall Oralist.

UP Law and the UP Law Center Institute of International Legal Studies once again hosted the Stetson SEARR this year. The competition was held on January 7-9, 2020 and was participated in by 15 teams from different law schools in Southeast Asia.

Marianne Crielle Vitug mentored the team as coach. The contingent was composed of Team Captain Sheigne Alvir Miñano (III-A), Beatriz Anna Balbacal (II-BGC Day), Justin James Gacula (IV-E), and Urania Lindo (III-Eve).
