Championship win for UP at the 2018 ANC Square Off: The Firm Debates

After a four year stretch, the UP Law team emerged as the champions at the 2018 ANC Square Off: The Firm Debates, beating St. Louis University at the finals round. The finale of the competition was held on June 6, 2018, at the ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center.

The team, composed of Marijo Angela Conejero, Tanya Renee Rosales, and Basilio Enrique Claudio, wrested the laurels from SLU on the topic of “LIBRT: The Bangsamoro Basic Law is Unconstitutional,” arguing for the affirmative. The win was decided by a five-man panel in a split decision.
