UP Law team finishes as semifinalist for the 2017 Price Media Law Moot Court Competition

The representatives of the University of the Philippines distinguished themselves in the international rounds of the 10th Monroe E. Price Media Law Moot Court Competition, garnering a place in the semi-finals, as well as the 2nd and 4th Best Speaker Awards. Competing at the Oxford University, United Kingdom, from April 3-7, 2017, the UP team was composed of Alex Austria (2nd Best Speaker), Redmond Lim, Hanna Lizette Manalili, and Raya Tan (4th Best Speaker) and coached by Prof. Nicholas Felix Ty, with Atty. Michelle Go and Atty. Christopher Louie Ocampo as assistant coaches.

The team qualified for the international rounds following the Asia-Pacific regional bout at the Renmin University in Beijing, where they won the Best Memorial and the Best Speaker award (Raya Tan).
