The faculty is known for their expertise in a variety of fields such as constitutional law, intellectual property, international law, environmental law, information technology, gender and human rights.  They are called upon regularly to provide their insights on pending legislation or to draft laws for congressional action.  They assist the media in explaining pressing legal issues and lend their expertise to help resolve some of the biggest issues facing the country such as the pursuit of peace in conflict-affected areas and climate change.

Many members of the faculty appear before the Supreme Court either as counsels for various parties or as amicus curiae.

The faculty is also widely published in prestigious journals in the Philippines and in other countries.

Among the faculty are recipients of prestigious awards such as the Ten Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) and the Ramon Magsaysay Award.
