Maximum Residency Rule


No student enrolled in the four-year Juris Doctor (J.D.) program shall be allowed to enroll for a period of more than twelve (12) semesters of actual residence; and in the five-year Juris Doctor (J.D.) program, fifteen (15) semesters of actual residence.

This rule shall not apply to graduate students governed by existing rules on maximum period.  Furthermore, account shall be taken if the provision of Article 243 of the Revised University Code which states that members of the faculty and officers and employees of the University have the privilege of enrolling in the University for not more than six (6) units a semester at reduced rates of fees.
