Law Dean as 21st UP President

College of Law Dean Danilo L. Concepcion was selected as the 21st president of the University of the Philippines by the Board Of Regents (BOR) at a special meeting held on 15 November 2016.

The 11-member BOR, the highest policy making body of the university, voted for Concepcion, 58, to replace Alfredo Pascual who will end his six-year term on February 2017.

Dean DLC will be the sixth to hold a Law degree in the roster of UP Presidents.
